General Dentistry

Professional Teeth Cleanings

For healthy patients, it is recommended they visit the dentist every six months for cleanings and exams. During regular teeth cleanings, we will remove any hardened tartar (plaque) that has built up on your teeth. We will examine your mouth for any signs of dental problems and review your at-home oral hygiene habits.

Periodontal Maintenance

Gum disease, also called periodontal disease, is a chronic infection which can have a negative effect on both your oral and overall health. If left untreated, it can contribute to a stroke or heart disease. It can also result in bone loss, which causes unstable teeth and tooth loss. Our gum disease treatments focus on restoring your oral health and preventing any further damage to your jaw and teeth.

Sealants

Because of their placement in the mouth and their textured surface, molars are harder to clean and have a higher rate of developing cavities. Dental sealants are used to coat the chewing surfaces of the molars to fill in crevasses and prevent acid-causing plaque from pooling and damaging the enamel. These are easy to apply and will last for years. Sealants are a popular treatment for children but are appropriate for patients of all ages.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canals are necessary when an infection has reached the nerve of a tooth. This procedure will help relieve pain and discomfort, eliminate bacteria, and restore function to the tooth. During a root canal, the infected pulp is removed, the tooth is disinfected and sealed, and restored with a crown to reestablish strength and appearance.

Crowns & Bridges

Waterlase System

This system incorporates a laser and water to complete a number of procedures without the use of a drill. In some cases, this eliminates the need for a shot. The Waterlase System allows us to safely, gently, and effectively perform treatment for a number of common dental conditions.

Itero Scanner

The latest addition to our practice, the Itero Scanner is a 3D scanner which we use to scan your teeth and make a “digital impression”. This eliminates the need to take physical impressions and can be used to fabricate a number of dental treatment items such as Invisalign trays, night guards, as well as crowns and bridges.

CEREC

We use this technology to design and mill crowns in-house. This system utilizes CAD/CAM technology to create crowns in just one visit. It saves you both time and money, as we can receive impressions and have their crown created and fitted within the same appointment.

VaTech CBCT scanner

Our Cone beam (CB) CT scanner is a 3D x-ray scanner that can provide us amazing 3 Dimensional images of your teeth and surrounding bone structures. Using very minimal radiation, it provides in-depth images that provide much more information than a traditional dental x-ray. The scanner can not only help aid better in the diagnoses and treatment of dental conditions but also conditions such as sleep apnea, TMJ issues and implant placement.

Pax 2000

In the wake of Covid 19, we are taking the extra step in ensuring an even safer environment for our patients. We are now introducing the Pax 2000 Extraoral Dental Suction System. This system, used by our dentist and hyegeinists, allows for safe removal of extra aerosols and droplets that are created while dental treatment is being performed. Not only does it do that, but the system is able to filter out and stop 99.97% of any viruses, germs or dust that would end up contaminating operatories and clothes.

Air Scrubber

Our air scrubber is an environmental conditioning system. Using certified Space Technology, this system attaches to our HVAC system. It then continuously purifies the air and reduces particles that can irritate allergies and asthma as well as protect people from contaminants and pollutants.

UVCBOX Light

The UVCBOX Light is a tripod supported, portable room sterilizer. Using UVC light technology, when placed in the room after all patients for the day are seen, it begins it’s sterilizing session and disinfects all surfaces and air inside the room within minutes.
